I have been a fan of Michael. Sizemore’s art for many years. His style has changed over time and I have loved each new phase. I have pieces from different times including an early piece in resin, one of Michael’s first forays into petroglyphs, and two sentimental yard flowers made from my grandparents‘ ashtrays. My most recent acquisition is a gift from my family, Michael’s image of the New River Gorge bridge to commemorate our recent trip to the great state of West Virginia. Michael’s current growth into large projects has tapped into his unique ability to translate a client’s ideas into stunning installations beautifying yards, businesses, and communities. Whether you happen across Michael’s work at an art show or commission a piece for your personal collection or your community, you will interact with a personable artist who has just the right art for you.

I wanted to find a way to enhance the uniqueness of my mountain retreat— Goose’s art was the perfect solution. He worked with me to translate my scattered ideas into an unforgettable set of metal structures complemented by blown glass and lighting. I’ve worked with creators before, but Goose is different. He makes you feel like you’re his only client, and he pours not only his artistic talents but also his heart into his creations. I’m so lucky to have met him!

Goose and I have been buddies for well over a decade. I always admired the art around and within his home whenever I visited. We commissioned his first work for our family based upon a drawing our oldest son did of a globe. He turned the piece into a kinetic fountain that blew my son and everyone else away. Since then, he has done three sculptures for my company’s business parks and several more pieces for friends and family. His creativity brings joy into my home, our mountain house and my professional landscape.

First, we are not art people-we don’t eat Brie (often) and our yacht has oars. But we want to live in a home that makes us happy. We surround ourselves with people, animals and art that brings us joy and makes us smile. We have 8 pieces of art from Goose, and I smile when I see them, sit with them or walk past one. If you want something that brightens your day, like a warm chocolate chip cookie that you can have every day, try a piece or two. Life is too long to not surround yourself with things that bring you joy, like this man’s art.
